Common questions

How do I check my immigration court case?

You need the 9-digit A-Number and the nationality on the case. You can look it up on EOIR's Automated Case Information website, call EOIR's automated line at 1-800-898-7180, or save the case in the app to see it any time and get alerts when it changes.

What if my A-Number has only 8 digits?

Immigration court systems use 9 digits. Add a zero at the beginning, so A12345678 becomes 012345678.

What does the app show about my case?

When EOIR's system has it: the next hearing date, time and type, the immigration judge, the court address, and any decision or motion on the case.

Can I follow a family member's case?

Yes, with their permission. You can save several cases and see them side by side.

Is this an official EOIR app?

No. It is an independent app that reads EOIR's public case information. Always confirm hearing dates with the court or your attorney.
